Those recipes are super easy to make and you can give them to your baby starting 5 months old.

I always thought that the education of the pallet has to start at a very young age, so do not hesitate to give taste to your purée as if they were for you!
The only difference is that for the baby purée we don’t use any salt but lemon.
We do not always have the time to cook, but it is important to feed our children the best, so find a time in your schedule, it can be a Sunday afternoon, so you can cook enough quantities for 3 or 4 weeks!
The idea is to freeze them in small individual bags, that you take out of the freezer for every meal.

So please, put your Baby Cook in the closet and take out your pots!

Green vegetables purées

Ingredients:
1 shallot
1 turnip
2 cloves of garlic
1 bay leaf
1 sprig of thyme or rosemary
1 white leek
2 large broccolis
4 zucchinis
200 g of green beans
2 potatoes
4 carrots
200g of frozen peas

In a large saucepan, bring 2.5 or 3 liters of water to boil and toss the shallot, garlic, bay leaf, thyme, leek and chopped turnip and let it steep for a few minutes.

It is important to cook in a large volume of water for the vegetables to cook properly. We work and display the vegetables according to their cooking time, we want the vegetables to be al dente and not completely boiled.

First, peel and wash the carrots and potatoes, put them in the water, then prepare the other vegetables: you can rinse them and cut them roughly and put them in this order in the water: green beans, then broccolis, then zucchinis.

Turn down the heat and cover a few minutes (about 6 minutes, no more!). At the last moment, put the peas in the water, turn off the heat, and let stand 2 or 3 minutes. A little beauty tip while cooking: take a large cup and fill it with vegetable broth, let it cool down, add a little olive oil and lots of lemon, enjoy!

Depending on the age of your baby (teeth or not), you can decide to make a very smooth puree or a chunkier one, your choice! Put the vegetables in your blender and add a tablespoon of broth (some vegetables like zucchini and broccoli give a lot of water so pour the broth little by little). Pour the purée in a large bowl, let it cool down. Do not throw the remaining broth, you can use it for the next purée. Once the purée is cold, put portions in small freezer bags (you know what your baby is eating, so put the quantities that seem right!). Make a little knot and display in your freezer.

To serve: Put the frozen bag in some boiling hot water to defrost and warm up. Please, do not use the microwave that devitalizes all the vitamins of your vegetables.

Add a little olive oil and lemon as salt, it's ready!

Quinoa, coral lentils, carrots, sweet potatoes

Ingredients:
2 shallots
2 cloves of garlic
1 bay leaf
1 sprig of thyme or rosemary
1 white leek
200g of Quinoa
250g of coral lentils
4 carrots
1 sweet potato

If you want, you can prepare this new puree with the remaining broth of the previous one, add enough water to have between 2.5 and 3 liters of water in the pot. Add the shallots, garlic, bay leaf, thyme, sliced white wine, and let it steep for a few minutes. It is important to have plenty of water for the vegetables to cook properly. Rinse quinoa and coral lentils, then pour them in boiling water.

Let it cook for about 10 minutes, cover and turn the heat to medium. Meanwhile peel and rinse your carrots and sweet potato, slice them roughly, then put them in water. Let it simmer again for 10-12 minutes, cover. Depending on the age of your baby (teeth or not), you can decide to make a very smooth puree or a chunkier one, your choice!

Blend everything together and add a tablespoon of the broth (the lentils need a lot of water not to turn into plaster, so add a little more liquid), once it is well mixed, let it cool down in a large bowl.

Peas and broken peas purée

Ingredients:
1 white onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 bay leaf
1 sprig of thyme or rosemary
1 white leek
250g of broken peas
250g of frozen peas
2 broccolis
Two hands full of fresh spinach leaves

Rinse the broken peas and let them to rest for 30 minutes in a large volume of water. In a large saucepan, bring 2.5 to 3 liters water to boil and add the sliced onion, garlic, bay leaf, thyme, sliced leek, and let it steep for a few minutes. It is important to have plenty of water for the vegetables to cook properly.
Put the broken peas in the pot, cook for about 10 minutes and cover over medium heat.

Meanwhile, rinse the broccolis and spinach leaves, then put the broccolis in water. Let simmer another 2-3 minutes, covered. Add the spinach leaves and peas, simmer for another 3 minutes on low heat. Depending on the age of your baby (teeth or not), you can decide to make a chunkier puree, your choice!

Blend it and add some broth (broken peas need a lot of water and broccoli give a lot, so add some broth little by little). You will probably have to do it 2 or 3 times to mix all these vegetables, which you will pour, once well mixed in a large salad bowl. Let cool.

Once the mashed cold, put portions in freezer bags (you know what your baby is eating, so put the quantities that seem right!), once it is well mixed, let it cool down in a large bowl.

Merci merci c’est super !!!
Mon bébé vient d’avoir 5 mois … je commence les purées ce we. Pensez-vous que l’on peut directement donner ces recettes … le pédiatre conseille de faire goûter légumes par légumes …
merci pour votre avis ?
