A world with less plastic

If you follow us on Instagram, you should know that the entire Heimstone team is very proud to support #the100kinitiative,
launched by Found and Oceana, for the month of June, the month of the oceans.
#the100kinitiative
#the100kinitiative is the synergy of Found, one of the most eco-friendly beverage companies and Oceana,
the world's largest organization for ocean rights advocacy, who wanted to act on some studies
that suggest 100,000 marine mammals are affected by single-use plastics each year.
100,000 individual glass bottles, numbered, were created to pay tribute to these marine mammals impacted by the plastic in our oceans,
of which 100% of the profits of the sales will be entirely donated to Oceana to support its actions.
The goal of this initiative is to raise awareness on the dramatic effects of plastic on marine mammals and
to support the global momentum to reduce the use of single-use plastics.

A word on the bottle # the100kinitiative of Found x Oceana
Found, a committed brand whose carbon footprint has been neutral since 2007
offers naturally sparkling and refreshing infused water.
Their bottle is one of the lightest recycled glass bottles ever developed.

As a tribute to these marine mammals, Found has produced a series of numbered bottles,
with an original illustration by New York artist Amit Greenberg, depicting them in an untouched environment, free of plastic.
The "whale" paper label is made of 100% compostable paper and attached to the bottle with a biodegradable adhesive.
When viewed through the bottle, the whale is as magnified, swimming in the water.

And why not give a second life to your bottles!
We can not bring lost marine mammals back to life,
but we can commemorate them by reincarnating the bottles in your homes.

See you soon at 23 rue du Cherche-Midi!
